1. This article by Carl Trueman is utterly superb in my opinion. He writes of a world that caused his grandfather to grow up far too quickly, and now our world which allows my generation to never grow up at all. Harkens of the John Piper article on adultolescence.

2. Covenant Life is letting you download a CD of hymns for either the price you deem reasonable, or if you tell 5 friends. \
3. Christmas music! Yes, yes, I’ve already starting listening to it, and I don’t care WHAT Charlie Mulligan has to say about it
I have a few stand by absolute favorites.
- Point of Grace : A Christmas Story
- Relient K : Let it snow baby, Let it Reindeer
- Annie Moses Band : This Glorious Christmas
- Amy Grant : Home for Christmas
- Manheim Steamroller : Fresh Aire, Christmas Celebration, Christmas
- Vince Guaraldi Trio : A Charlie Brown Christmas
- Elf Sountrack (particularly Baby It’s Cold Oustide)
- Bing Crosby : White Christmas
- Kathie Lee Gifford : It’s Christmas Time
Ok, so I’ve realized there’s a lot more I could put on here. But if you’re like me, and love the holiday season, I suggest checking out some of these CD’s. So many of these songs have such vivid childhood memories associated with them-especially Amy Grant, Manheim Steamroller, and Kathie Lee. My dad would blast these through the house while we decorated with lights out side.
Here’s to snow!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE Mannheim Steamroller. A Christmas staple in my view. I’m kicking around the idea of starting to listen to Christmas music early this year, too, and I have a feeling that it’ll happen!
